Another Fine Mess

Greetings from San Tropez.

Badly outstrategized, the Trumpenfuhrer is now mired in a desperate attempt to find an off ramp from the war the Israelis convinced him to join. There is no way even he can lie his way out this one without egg on his face.

The current boondoggle of “escorting” ships in the Strait of Hormuz is an obvious attempt to try to “blame” the Iranians for reinitiating overt hostilities.

Meanwhile, as predicted, Netanyahu is gleefully leveling large swaths of Southern Lebanon as a buffer against Hezbollah.

Oliver Hardy’s fine mess is nothing compared to what we are witnessing.

On the domestic front, avoiding yet another fine mess, it looks as though Eric Swallwell’s meltdown might wind up preserving the California statehouse for the Democrats.

I prefer Katie Porter but it looks like either Becerra or Steyer will find their way to Sacramento after vanquishing the MAGA Republican in the general election.
